I am not sure if I have sloved it correctly
The Equation will be
0.1X +0.2Y = 0.5(X+Y). where X+Y = Z
From, 1, Y= 10
0.1X + 2 = 0.5(X+2)
0.5X – 0.1X = 1
0.4X = 1
So, X = 2.5……….Sufficient
From 2, Z= 16
0.1X + 0.2Y = 0.5(16)
0.1X + 0.2Y = 8
& X+ Y = 16………Sufficient
The Equation will be
0.1X +0.2Y = 0.5(X+Y). where X+Y = Z
From, 1, Y= 10
0.1X + 2 = 0.5(X+2)
0.5X – 0.1X = 1
0.4X = 1
So, X = 2.5……….Sufficient
From 2, Z= 16
0.1X + 0.2Y = 0.5(16)
0.1X + 0.2Y = 8
& X+ Y = 16………Sufficient

I am getting the answer as A.
St1 is suff
st2 just gives value of x+y and from this we can not find the value of x

0.10x + 0.02Y = 0.05Z
From A we know that Y = 10, BUT if we plug into the equation we cannot solve since we need one more variable
From B we know that Z = 16, BUT if we plug into the equation we cannot solve since we need one more variable
From A&B we have 2 variables and can solve the equation
