I am in the same shoes. I am approx. 7 classes away from my Bachelors degree but my gpa is below a 3.0 .

What I am doing now is taking extra "easy" classes to earn A's in - so it will raise my cummulative GPA. Perhaps this is something you should consider -IF- you want to raise your cummulative gpa..

This tactic actually back fired for me. I got a B- in what was considered as one of the easy classes and got a A in the most difficult one. Small mistakes count for a lot in those easy classes.

^LOLOL - i feel that's gona happen for one of the classes im taking although I got over 100 (with extra credit) on the first 2 exams. the last exam, however, was crazy. i think i got an 80 on it =(((( Anyway, I go to Hunter but am taking the "easy" courses @ laguardia - yes, the community college.

LOL - thanks to https://www.ratemyprofessor.com , the likelihood of me picking a "not so easy" course has diminished. Internet: I love you.

I feel that professors are 70% of the reason why some really smart people don't score so well in classes. If you have a prof. that loves the subject (and doesn't let his personal life affect his work), for me, that gives me more motivation to learn it.
