I am stuck on the following Algebra expression:

(3x^2(x-2)-x+2)/(x-2)

A) 3x^2-x+2
B) 3x^2+1
C) 3x^2
D) 3x^2-1
E) 3x^2-2

I know the solution is very simple but I am absolutely stuck right now. Can anyone help?

Agree on D.
When you get stuck in a problem like this, simply pick an easy number and solve for x. Then find the answer that yields the same result as the stem.
