I am stuck on the following Algebra expression:
(3x^2(x-2)-x+2)/(x-2)
A) 3x^2-x+2
B) 3x^2+1
C) 3x^2
D) 3x^2-1
E) 3x^2-2
I know the solution is very simple but I am absolutely stuck right now. Can anyone help?

(3x^2(x-2)-x+2)/(x-2)
A) 3x^2-x+2

I think the question is something like
(3x^2(x-2)-x+2)/(x-2)
= ((3x^2*(x-2))/(x-2)) - 1(x-2)/(x-2)
= 3x^2-1
option is D
A) 3x^2-x+2
B) 3x^2+1
C) 3x^2
D) 3x^2-1
E) 3x^2-2

(3x^2)(x-2) - x + 2 = (3x^2)(x-2) - (x-2)
= (3x^2-1)(x-2)
Therefore,
(3x^2(x-2)-x+2)/(x-2) = (3x^2-1)(x-2)/(x-2)
=3x^2-1
