Honestly, I have been working tirelessly since the essays were announced. Working day and night, all through the weekend and I wonder if I will even be ready to submit.
How in the world are some of you applying to 8, 10, 12 schools? That seems insane to me.

Working on 8 - 10 apps simultaneously would make anyone totally burned out, affecting the quality of application essays, which would eventually bring down admission chances. IMO, it's wise to choose 4-5 schools that best suit your profile and apply.

If you are preparing the applications on your own and you are preparing more than 4 applications at once then let me give you a piece of advice: Save 1 or 2 schools that you really love/like and don't apply to them first round. Then if you don't get any interviews or enough interviews in round 1, you can still reach out to someone for help in round 2.
I've seen tons of people apply on their own to every conceivable school in a given round or application year, not get into any of them, and then the following round or year they're left with no good schools to apply to anymore.
