OG is boss....GMAT 800 is pretty good also.

But your best resource is of course the good people here at GMATclub....woo!!

Kaplan 07 or PR Cracking the GMAT for detailed strategy. You can study either one, or both to select the best strategy for yourself.

Kaplan 800 is for those difficult questions, esp on verbal. The math questions are not as tough as what they claimed.

Finally OG 11ed is for practice on official Gmat questions. It is purely about practice because only a little strategy is mentioned.

If you need to get only 1 book, it is the OG.

Sites like this (and testmagic) are really the best resources. Otherwise, of course the OG11 and I used Manhattan Review's books. They're pretty good too.
