Hi Everyone!
Like a lot of people, I studied relentlessly for almost a year and then took the GMAT and was very disappointed to get a low score. I actually scored only a 540.
Then I got a recommendation from a friend to try a tutoring service and it helped me a LOT! I was skeptical to try online tutoring at first, but it ended up being a lot better than I thought!
The tutor gave me some great tips and tricks and showed me what I was wasting my time on and found some areas where I needed to improve. He especially helped with timing.
Anyway - whether you use a tutor or not, just keep at it!!!!! With a little extra help, you can get a a great score too!!!! I ended up with a 760!!!!!
No for applications....whew! Will this ever end??

Oh I forgot, in case you want the name of the service, it was arbortutors dot com. I found them from a friend.
Here was my breakdown of my 760:
V46, Q49
Before tutoring, I used the MGMAT books and the Official Guide. Arbortutors had their own material that I used that was really helpful.
