I got in the exam V6, Q41 . My plan was in about 2 months , I read the OG and made practices test on the TestPrep & PowerGmat . My traget is 600 , please advice. My verbal is very low! I do know what can I do to improve it?

Hi merzik. Please elaborate on your preparations.

Did you take mock tests? How did you use the OG? How comfortable are you in speaking/writing/reading English?

Based on your verbal score, my suggestion is to enroll in an English language course and supplement that with some GMAT Fiction. Once you have built a reasonable foundation, move on to more GMAT-specific study materials.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply and advice , my total score was 380, from where I can get Aristotle Prep SC and MGMAT SC , Powerscore CR? I planned to take the exam in amideast center in Egypt to develop my verbal.

You can get the Aristotle Prep SC on their website:https://aristotleprep.com/products. RC99 and SC Grail are pretty cheap and you can get soft copies of both.

SC Power score..I am not sure how to get it at a decent price....I got a Power Score book shipped from amazon.com to UAE and it cost me a fortune...don't wanna disclose the amount... :) people will start laughing at the price I shelled out.

Dont get disheartened. With able guidance you should be bale to reach your target score of 600. You should definitely look at a comprehensive course from good GMAT tutors to give you good guidance in verbal. On the other hand, work on your Quant, its a lot easier to improve it than verbal.

One last thing: working on prep books is good, but you might have some other weaknesses that would require you to become more familiar with the language. I would strongly encourage you to read in English from time to time in order to "switch" your brain from Arabic (if that is your mother tongue) to English. The idea is to make you "think" in english eventually.
Moreover, while you rest, why not watching a movie or a serie in English: it is fun and entertaining, and it is a good way to put you on good track.

Good luck with that, and just stay focused

A lot thanks for your advices and attentions, after re thinking and review your replies, I rearranged my plan and I will do this procedures:-
1- Review the English grammar concept to improve my SC.
2- Take English course to develop my language
3- Take GMAT preparation course to learn the GMAT test strategy
4- Review and enhance my math to be strongest in the Quantitative section
5- Read the OG again
6- Practice test using GMATPREP and POWERSCORE and MGMAT
7- My target will be 650 in the practice test, when I get about 650 then I will register to another GMAT test.
Thanks again, if there is any a comment or advice please tell me.
I will come back strongly

On the bright side, you have a very good quantitative score! Keep up the good work, and I know that in time that verbal score will jump!
