I have a doubt regarding Qs.#14 in Verbal Bin 3 of Princeton Review's Cracking the GMAT 2010 ed.
The answer explanation to the question is too vague, something like "choices A & C are much too cynical to be correct answers on the GMAT, and choices D and E go well beyond the scope of the question"....ummm...what?!
If anyone has the passage & question with them (inference qs), please let me know the reasoning behind the answer! If nobody has it, I guess I'll try typing out the entire passage with the qs...

It's been a few days since you posted, so maybe you should post the text of the question, at least, for those of us who don't have the book.
Wrong answers on RC often are more opinionated or vague than they should be. I find that you can usually pinpoint 2-3 words in a wrong answer that aren't supported by the passage or otherwise disqualify the answer choice. Let's see what those words are in this question...
