I have generally read and heard people saying something like....
-My brother and I did it.
or
- Gloria and I went for a walk.
but I was wondering if there's a rule that forces me to follow this sequence and not alter it to say...
- I and Gloria went for a walk.
or
- I and my brother did it.
Most of the SCs that I have come across also prefer the first option but not sure whether its a default thing.

i dont remember the source but i think i read somewhere that if u need to refer to 3 different persons(ie 1st,2nd and 3rd) in a single sentence then the sequence is 3rd-2nd-1st
eg: gloria,you and I should work on this together
im not too sure though,
