I just did my GMAT exam now... 690 I feel devastated 27 Dec 2020, 07:51

I did 4 official GMAT prep exams last week:
Exam 1: 710
Exam 2: 720
Exam 3:710
Exam 4:730

2 days later, actual exam 690....

I re-scheduled the exam to Jan 12 (same time as MBA application deadline and within the 16 days limit......)

What should I do? I feel I have all the basic... just need to execute?

First: your score was not bad and not so much bellow the mocks.
Other than that, try to see why you had such score. Was it quant or verbal? Was it the pressure?

Once that you find the main source, try to work on it!

It was quant... I got Q47... I was consistently scoring Q49 during my mocks.

I have no idea what to do... I only have a few days left what's my plan of action now?

It seems that a retake could help you. The most important thing here is: KEEP CALM
Try meditating and access what went wrong. I'm sure you can do it, just breath and you will find an answer

I had this problem some years ago, if I only could go back in time and calm myself... =)
The biggest difference is that I had 730 on mocks and 630 on the GMAT

Hi Joy660,

You are almost there. You have to tweak your approach of solving questions a bit and you will get to the magic 700's. But before I suggest you how to improve, I would like to know your current way of approaching questions and your weak areas if any.
