I'm a Marketing Manager for a good company. I've decided to start preparing for the GMAT to see what schools I coould get into so that I can move up the corp. ladder. My problem is that I have terrible math skills. I avoided math as much as possible all through school. How important are math skills for passing the GMAT? Is this something that I can learn in the prep books, or should I go back to school for math before I work towards an MBA?

50% of GMAT is maths!!!!!
GMAT tests few concepts in infinite ways. I would suggest brushing high school maths and then practice, practice and practice REGULARLY. If use are out ot touch in maths for 2 weeks then you have to spend few days to learn the things again.
