Maybe it was just a bad day or something other than your Math or Verbal skills that caused this. Just figure that out and fix it. I am sure, you'll rock next time!

Good Luck!

How did you feel on the test? Did you feel that you weren't prepared for the type of questions on the test? Or did you feel that you were doing all the right things and shocked by the score?

Adonis,
I had a very similar experience. I don't know what it is and honestly I am a little freaked out because I did not see it coming. Like I felt like I was doing very well through out the test and come to find out that I did not score as high as I expected. I was scoring between 670 and 700 on the Kaplan and Powerprep. I scored 640 on the actual. It's not the overall score but my performance on each section that I am confused about. Quant, where I usually have no trouble, I got 61% while verbal which I usually am weak in I got 85%. I sympathize and would like to see if you relate.

Bless

I had a similar experience on GMAT.

I didn't have more than 5 hours sleep for four days before the day I appeared on GMAT. I had really hectic time ...

I started well...on essays and scored well on math...by the time I reached verbal section I started feeling tired, my eyes were having difficulty reading text on screen and couldn't answer any question correctly.

Have patience. I am giving GMAT again and will fight back.

God bless GMATClub.com

Thank you all for you support...

but to address certain questions, I was feeling perfectly well i had a wonderful sleep the previous night, I wasn't anxious, but i did have a bit of anxiety just before the test but i guess that is normal, the only this is that I was a bit tired in the verbal section and i thought i was getting a headache but nothing i could not handle...

my temporary plan is to sit thru full length tests at least 3 per week to get me accustomed to sitting and focusing without any breaks.

If anyone has other suggestions, i woud be glad to hear them.
Also, I would appreciate suggestions regarding any extra material I should go thru for verbal...

thanks all once again

with you ans it seems that you just had a Bad Day ....

still some more Qus.

Hope you have taken the PP and GP before the OG.

You can try the kap800 and LSAT material for CR and RC.
Also, make sure that you understood all the right and wrong choices for SC from OG.
