Gaddafi101 - I am sorry to hear about your experience. While you must wait for 16 calendar days to take the next GMAT online, you may have a GMAT test center appointment within 16 calendar days of a GMAT online. Therefore, you can take the test at a test center neat you without having to wait for 16 calendar days. Please reach out to the customer care team of GMAC and Examity.

Hi Gaddafi101,

I'm sorry to hear about the technical issues that you faced on Test Day; that whole experience must have been quite frustrating (although you seem to have responded to it well-enough). From what you describe, there are a few potential 'solutions' to the situation that you're facing:

1) You wait the 16 days and take the At-home GMAT again (and during that time, you should make sure to purchase an external charger for your computer).
2) You take the GMAT at a Test Center. Scheduling Exams in the two formats (Test Center and At-home) currently have nothing to do with one another - meaning that you do NOT need to wait 16 days to take a GMAT at a Test Center (you could take it tomorrow if an appointment slot was available).
3) You contact the Programs that you plan to apply to and explain your situation. Many Schools will allow Applicants to submit a GMAT Score after a deadline, as long as the rest of the application is in on time.
4) You apply at a later date. While I understand why you might want to apply to School as soon as possible, applying later on this cycle (or next cycle) would give you additional time to study - and if you're not currently hitting your Goal Score on your CATs/mocks, then that extra study time could be quite useful.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
