Should be E.

I was struggling between D and E. E clearly says D received 10 in three subjects and M didn't score above 8. And M and D got same score in one subject.

If we assume D - 10 10 10 1 then maximum M can have is 8 8 8 1 only.

Pretty sure it's E

(3*10)30 pts+7=37

(8*3) 24pts+7=31

OA given is a clear B. I picked E also. Thanks for clearing my doubts. E must surely be it. This is in one of the paper tests if any of you is interested in knowing the source. As long as they have these kind of answer keys on the GMAT, I'm cool with that 8-)

Guys, what do you think the answer should be for this.

I also thought the answer should be 'E', but OA is different.

B and E both make sense.

But B and E both give different answers.

Also E is much clearer than B.

E should be the answer.
