Don't know if I am breaking a rule about talking politics, but it is the 'off topic' forum, so I'd figure I'd post here.

The Democrats are absolutely stupid. As a former Democrat, I can say that with 100% honesty/conviction. If the nominee were to be Bernie Sanders, there would be a Democrat (-ic Socialist) as our president with even hopes of taking back the house or the Senate.

Stupid Hilary Clinton supporters had to rig the primaries, and throw a hissy fit when their 'crowned' nominee had to even try for the nomination. She was soo corrupt, dishonest, and in accessible as a candidate that she had 0 chance of winning the election.

Some people say, don't think about what happened in the past, or stop the 'what ifs', but its not that simple. The Democrats still don't know why they lost. The party thinks the status quo is absolutely alright, and that they lost because of bad turnout or whatever ...

I would love to get back into the Democratic Party, but until the leadership turns over, all the way from Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Shumer to the stupid Grassroots Clinton people, I am going to either vote Independent, Green, or (if I make a lot of money this year) Republican.

I see what your point is, but I also want to point out something else. Yes, Bernie should have been the candidate and yes, Clinton was entirely too unlikable. Yet, how was she NOT a better choice than Trump? How did people not vote for her, even in the face of Trump's victory? Now news channels are outraged with his "politics" but it's not really surprising, is it? People should have voted for Clinton, even if they detested her.
