I could try to explain this one
Let the angle PTR=a------ (!)
so,PRT=(90-a)right?-------(1)
Now,in triangle RQS
since QR=RS
This means angle RQS=angleRSQ right?-------(2)
sum of angles of a triangle=180
Using (1)and (2) RSQ=RQS=(180-(90-a))/2 =(90+a)/2 ------(3)
Similarly for triangle UST
UTS=PTR=a (from(!))
The other two angles of this triange would be (180-a)/2-----(4)
Using 3 and 4 and property of a straight line(sum=180)
(90+a)/2 + x + (180-a)/2 = 180
x=45 degrees
