Hi Guys,
I'm planning to take the GMAT by the end of March; however, I've been struggling with Quant. It took me one month to finish Number Properties, and even with that time, I'm still grappling with hard-level questions. I have always been a high achiever in quantitative subjects, but it seems that I can't crack the GMAT, which is bringing me down. Could you give me advice on how to tackle this and what should be done so that I could be ready by the end of March?
Also, I'm struggling with how to approach a question. Should I read the whole quant question first and then start noting down the important things, or should I note down while reading? I feel that I waste a lot of time noting down without knowing what the next step is. Essentially, I'm looking for the most efficient way to approach a question.
Do Quant questions pattern actually repeat or not? I noticed that the more I solve questions, the more their patterns repeat, so I'm able to solve them faster. Is that a good thing, or is it considered like cheating since I've already seen similar questions, and the actual GMAT will probably have unique questions.
Lastly, should I fully master each topic before moving to the next, or can I move on to the next topic even if I'm still struggling with hard-level questions? I prefer to finish all the theory first with some practice, then master them. This way, I make sure that I finish the theory in time and practice as much as I could before the end of March.
Sorry for the long message, but I truly have no other choice than to take the GMAT by the end of March, so I'll appreciate any kind of advice. Thank you.
