Hello,
I've been preparing for the GMAT for a month now, and when I started I took my first practice exam. Since then I have taken a few and noticed that my score in Verbal AND Quant is decreasing. I don't understand why, I've studied a lot in these 4 weeks, but it seems like it hasn't helped at all.
Has anyone experienced the same?

People often experience performance dropoffs toward the beginning of their preparation because they start learning new things that they aren't that good at applying. So, they go from doing what they do naturally to seeking to apply things that the aren't as good at.
At the same time, a month of prep is fairly significant. So, a performance dropoff at this point is sort of unusual.
What practice tests have you been using? Have they all been from the same source? If not, changes from one type of practice test to another might explain what's going on.
