I scored terribly on the Manhattan GMAT CAD Practice Test #1. I'm currently taking the online course and feel like it's not really helping. I'm finding myself taking much longer on the fundamentals aspect of the math. Did anyone else score badly and was able to significantly increase their score? I'm working my way through the MGMAT FDP strategy book and pushing through the lessons of the online course for now. Any strategies that anyone could provide, would be helpful!

Many Test Takers spend 3 months (or more) of consistent study time before they hit their 'peak' scores, so if you're early-on in your studies, then you shouldn't necessarily expect to be performing at a high level just yet. Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
Studies:
1) How long have you studied?
2) What were the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for this CAT?
3) Did you have to 'rush' to finish any of the sections (and if so, then how many questions did you rush through)?
Goals:
4) What is your goal score?
5) When are you planning to take the GMAT?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School?
7) What Schools are you planning to apply to?

Start with Quant, learn the concepts tested on GMAT. After learning, practice your learned section with timed practice. You can also take quizzes to meet the pace of GMAT. 1 Month for learning concepts and 15 days of practice and same with the verbal. When completed all the concepts learning and handsome practice. Take full lenght CATs, know your estimated score. Analyze the result with Correct/incorrect questions, pacing analysis trace your mistakes and learn from them, make an error log to know your mistakes in the previously attempted questions
