Hi anzhere96,

If you were to leave the last question unanswered on the Official GMAT, then the effect would be minimal (if anything). You scored a Q47 because you did enough work in that section to EARN a Q47 (not because you would have scored a Q51 but you didn't answer the last question). If you're looking to raise that Quant Scaled Score, then you should take a good look at all of the questions that you got wrong and try to define WHY you got them wrong. How many did you miss because of silly/little mistakes? THOSE questions represent your missing points.

I skipped the last question in Quant section by mistake because of double clicking the answer and then the timer going off. This led to a quant score of 47. By how much could the skipping of a question affect my QUANT RAW Score?

There is a penalty for missing the question, but to tell you the exact number is impossible.
No one but the GMAC people know the algorithm.
