I skipped the last question in Quant section by mistake because of double clicking the answer and then the timer going off. This led to a quant score of 47. By how much could the skipping of a question affect my QUANT RAW Score?

As long as you had the answer clicked, the GMAT will count that answer, so in this case the effect was zero. If you hadn't clicked an answer at all, it could (in theory) have dropped your final score by a point. The scoring algorithm is complicated and there are lots of variables at play here (How hard was the question? Where was your score before that point? Would you have gotten the question right? etc.), but one rough rule of thumb is that leaving a question unanswered is equivalent to missing two questions. There is definitely a penalty for timing out! However, in this case, you were safe.

No the question remained unanswered. Double clicking deselected my answer. My quant section was going really well, until I did this silly thing. So the 37th question remained unanswered. Thus, my raw score in quant is 47.
