How do you get moderator power?

I see few people names with colored font? is this due to the number posts or are they moderators too?

I don't know how I got Moderator Powers.

I just woke up, checked gmatclub this morning, and it seems that I went through a Hulk-like green transformation overnight.

Actually I was going to ask him for $200, two references, an explanation on how selling me a cell phone fit into his long-term plans, and the reasons why this is the right time in his life to be selling me a phone. Then I was going to sit around for three months and decide whether to buy a phone from him.
