Hey dude,
So the "right school" for you is probably simply the best school you can get into. It's a wee bit hard for me to say where that would be cause I am missing too much detail, like:
What school did you graduate from? What is your Indian GPA?
What do you do in your job? Have you received any promotions? Do you have any leadership? What are your greatest achievements?
What EXACTLY did you do in your NGO? Who did you lead and how many???
The more info you can provide, the better evaluation I can provide.
Best,
Jon
Thank you So much Jon for replying.
Here are the things that you wanted to know about me.
Tell me if this helps.
(I know its crude.)I have Graduated from VSSUT, Burla, India.(A Govt. Engineering College) My Indian CGPA is 8.20/10.
My role in the Job:I look after 15 out of the 1700 Maruti Suzuki dealerships in India.
My work involves constant traveling to various parts of the country.
I provide support and solutions to the dealerships for a continuous business growth.
The main focus areas are volume growth and customer retention. I also deal with the end user on a regular basis, which has helped me gauge the customer and in turn the market sentiments for the product(s).
This puts me in an unique position as a liaison between the Quality team at the production facility and the market. I have not received any promotion yet.Leadership Roles:
Job:I lead the Extended Warranty sales team for the Zone. (comprising of 13 out of 28 states in India)
I am also in charge of the the Genuine Accessory sales team in the Zone.
I am the Zonal Coordinator for Productivity and Business growth, which has provided me the opportunity to closely monitor a business worth Rs 300 Crores(Roughly $ 50 million) per month. And since(i.e. August 2013) I have been given this opportunity the business has grown by 23%.
Graduation School:I was the
Sponsorship Lead of the college cultural festival, VASSAUNT 2010-11, and had raised Rs. 1000000/- through the Alumni Network, Corporates and Selling Advertising Space.
I was also
in charge of Events for the college technical fest, Samavesh 2010-11, in which me along with my team organized 32 events(128 Rounds) over 3 Days.
I was the
co-editor of the College Yearbook in my final year. I was in charge of Publishing and Distributing the 1200 copies of Galaxy 2012, the yearbook.
My work with the NGO,Campaign Against Child Labour(CACL):I have always been overtly sympathetic towards the cause of Child Rights and staunchly against the exploitation of children through all means, including child labour.
At CACL I started working as an Associate from October 2010. I have organized "mass school drives" in areas where children are targeted as cheap labour. These drives were taken in the industrial areas where small scale industries use children of the factory workers to do odd jobs like Scrap picking, metal polishing etc.
I have led in 27 such drives since and have liberated more than 1400 Children.
Since I already had the experience of fund raising in my school, the NGO has entrusted me with the responsibility to raise and manage the funds for the School Drives.
Through various charitable trusts, the corporates, the Corporate Social Responsibility of my company, my alumni network I have raised more than Rs 5000000/- for the NGO over 3 years.
My greatest achievement is yet to come. But if I had to look in till date it would be the smile on the face of a child, whom I liberated from a glass factory in 2010, and who matriculated Primary School for High School in April 2014.
