I was a physics major in College, and only recently took a diagnostic test in order to see where i would score. On the quant section, i got 12 wrong, 24/37. I really was surprised, I have about 2 months to study, can I get this much higher?

Hi and welcome to GMATClub 
Well... U will progress for sure if u put enough of dedication to GMAT... Do u have the OG 11?
Once u work with this book, u have a better idea of what the GMAT questions are. Often tricky on 1 point, u will observe that u need to read with a whole attention the question and statments. It's one of the important things to do in order to avoid "silly" mistakes.
Also, your background will revive in u but it could bomb u by doing wrong assumptions... Especially with the question itself : understand i, n or l like integers when they are not and so on
Finally, good luck ! :D... Don't forget that participating on the V & Q sections of GMATClub is the key of success

Hi, thank you for the timely response, I do not know what OG 11 is, I have a practice book, however it is from the library and I fear it might be somewhat dated.
