I don’t quite agree with the solution. I disagree with the assertion that you can't assume that potato chips are the most popular type of chip. The quantity of potato chips per household times the percentage of households purchasing potato chips. (91.3*9.76), is more than half of the quantity of all potato chips per household times the percentage of households purchasing all chips. Because potato chips are a subset of the all chips group, and the total is greater than 50%, you can reasonably infer that potato chips were the most popular type of chip without any stretches of logic greater than you must for the correct answer (which I agree is still correct).

In the original solution, ‘most popular’ was meant to mean ‘purchased by the largest percentage of households.’ To avoid confusion, I’ve modified the statement to make that clearer.
