A researcher collected the following statements, which are representative samples of comments about the ballet company from dancers and staff at a prestigious but relatively low-paying European ballet company in Nation N. 1. Dancers join the company because it enhances their professional profile. 2. Dancers come in pursuit of the goal of working with the company's prestigious resident choreographer. 3. Dancers apply for positions at the ballet company because it allows them to work in an environment where each dancer, even relatively new ones, will play principal dance roles. 4, Dancers stay with the company because of the collegial and collaborative atmosphere among the dancers and the resident choreographer; the cause of this atmosphere is attributed to the company's egalitarian structure (as described in Statement 3). 5. Dancers stay with the company because they enjoy participating with the resident choreographer in the design process, as it teaches them this choreographer's renowned style and approach.
The table provides select and accurate information about the ballet company identified on the Interviews tab alongside relevant industrywide averages (arithmetic mean) for all professional European ballet companies.
