Icarus Airline Manufacturing Corporation has continuously made greater profits by supplying airlines with quality airplanes which are equipped with increased seating capacity. In an effort to continue this financial trend, the company is set to launch a double-decker jumbo jet.
The plan of the company as described above assumes all of the following EXCEPT:

Does Icarus need (D) to go ahead with their plan? Assumption is something that an author "needs" to reach to his/her conclusion. And all assumptions are strengtheners as they further strenghten the belief into the conclusion.
If you look at D though, it's rather a weakener. If that happens, their profits will plummet. Hence, the correct choice.

Why not C because if they have no preference between double decker and previous one ,they will not go for double decker and hence their plan could be hurted ?
