Hi All,
I am planning to apply to an MBA program in 2025. The two options on my list so far are IE and ESADE. I find their admission processes similar in some ways, but different when it comes to testing and flexibility in presenting yourself.
There are a few open questions that would be helpful for me to prepare better:
1. How did you prepare for the two exams (ESADE Admission Test (TAE) or ieGAT)?
2. How is the personal statement perceived if it doesn’t follow the standard format and is a little unconventional?
3. Did you work with experts for your personal statements?
4. How did you find the interview process once the application was submitted? What areas do you think you excelled in that the committee really appreciated?
5. How hard or easy did you find the scholarship process? What areas do you think you excelled in that the committee really appreciated?

These 5 questions are quite straight forward. Only Q2 is little complex. You need to brainstorm with a good consultant or any MBA grad to give a well thought answer. I believe that they are asking your opinion on how you will perceive the SOP if its little unconventional. Hmmm... that's needs some good reflection.
