Hi,
According to Insead's language policy document, the IELTS requirement is: 'IELTS Academic (Minimum required: 7.5) Listening & Reading AND Speaking & Writing sections'
Does this mean you need 7.5 in all sections? Or just that you need to take all sections and get an overall 7.5?
How do I prove fluency in English?
You can demonstrate fluency either by a degree from a university where all courses were taught
exclusively in English or by taking one of the following English tests and reaching the minimum
passing scores (in brackets):
TOEFL (internet-based test: 105; computer-based test: 260; paper-based test: 620),
TOEIC Listening & Reading (950), Speaking (190) & Writing (170) sections,
IELTS Academic Listening & Reading, Speaking & Writing (7.5),
CPE (B),
PTE Academic (72).
These tests have a validity period of 2 years.
If your university degree was exclusively taught in English but in a non-English speaking country, proof
that the language of instruction was English must be sent with your application.
The TOEIC, no idea what it is, specifies scores per section, therefore you can infer that the IELTS is 7.5 overall
