Hello everyone, I really want to try to apply to HBS and I think this year is the last year that I can do so since I'll be 30 June next year, now 28 y/o.
I just got my IELTS result and it's band 8 overall, with band 9 on listening and reading but band 6.5 on speaking and writing.
Because on their website they do not mention the sub-scores required, but they mention that IELTS score needs to be at least 7.5, is it safe/wise to apply using the current score?
Thank you in advance GMATclub members!

Hello, MyndNathamon. An 8 is a fine overall score, and the 9s in those particular areas are a plus. Some people might say that a conservative bet is achieving 7.5 or above across the board, but I doubt your score will go against you as is, especially if you write compelling essays and, later, give a good interview. You may also want to ask admissions consultants what they think, since it is their job to help clients gain every edge they can.
