Tests and examinations are a central feature of school systems in many countries.
Do you think the educational benefits of testing outweigh any disadvantages?
Give reasons for your answer, and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Being the main characteristic of most academic institutions the examination system helps a school to evaluate the knowledge and skills of its current and prospective students. It is well known that there are lots of debates around available scoring systems used by many schools. Some people believe that current testing methods are not effective any more, while others think that it is not necessary to replace or amend the current scoring methods. In my opinion both sides are partially right.
It is well documented that test questions reflect the academic material used at school lectures and seminars. Such questions cover the most part of the subject taught and evaluate the level information acquainted by the students during the classes. Besides, upcoming examination makes students to learn harder the appropriate field of study. Without evaluation, I think, many students would lose they interest in learning.
On the other hand, modern testing systems require students to obtain huge amount of academic information within short period of time. It is widely believed that only knowledge of subject is not enough to pass the test with higher results. The students are also required to possess strong time management skills in order to get high scores during examination within time limit. I think that this situation makes lots of students to feel pressure which eventually leads to lower scores.
In my opinion examination at schools should be less stressful where students can reveal their true knowledge and will not be demotivated. I think that the time limit of the test questions should be extended since the students can have enough time to think and apply the knowledge, can get higher scores, and will be stimulated to learn further.

Can someone check my essay?
The 21th century has begun. What changes do you think this new century will bring? Use examples and details in your answer.
It is a well-known fact, that the world is developing day by day. The 21th century will bring great changes and innovations to make our life easier. I want to list some of them below.
First of all, a computer system surprises and gets developed day to day. Several centuries ago, we couldn’t imagine how to communicate with one another in several seconds, through the computer programs such as, skype, yahoo messenger and facebook. In several years, scientists will invent techniques that will integrate a television and computer. The innovation will enable us to use it for double purposes. Thanks to it and the scientists, electricity and financial expenditures will be reduced significantly.
On the other hand, medicine and technical sciences will be advanced greatly. In the last century, tuberculous and other similar diseases were uncurable, but nowadays, our doctors have already solved the problem. Today, our world is suffering from AIDS and various types of cancers, plenty of people are dying out of these illnesses . In the future, these diseases will be cured easily. As to the technical fields, for example: transportation and mechanical engineering sphere has recently been evolved unsurprisingly. In the air the roads will be built in order to relocate easily. Lots of modern and innovative cars equipted with utmost systems will be made to drive fast, safely and comfortably.
In addition to this, to the scientists’ mind, living on the moon is avaliable, but it hasn’t been proved up to now. They are working hard to discover new life and enable us to see the new world.
To sum up, I strongly believe lots of amazing changes will be brought in the present century. More over with a help of the modern technologies, our next generations will develop their skills and abilities to cope with and overcome their difficulties.
