$$(\frac{1}{x}+x)^{2}$$ =16

($$\frac{1}{x}$$+x)($$\frac{1}{x}$$+x) = 16

$$\frac{1}{x^{2}}+2+x^{2}$$=16

$$\frac{1}{x^{2}}+x^{2}$$=14
