If -2 < x < 3, which of the following CANNOT be true?

A. 3x < -3. This gives: x < -1. This could be true, for example, if x = -1.5.

B. 2x + 2 < 4. This gives: x < 1. This could be true, for example, if x = -1.5.

C. 3x < 8. This gives: x < 8/3. This could be true, for example, if x = -1.5.

D. 3x > -3. This gives: x > -1. This could be true, for example, if x = 0.

E. -3x > 8. This gives: x < -8/3. So, x < -2.7 (approximately) This CANNOT be true because we are given that -2 < x < 3.
