If three people can do the job in $$\frac{16}{3}$$ days,
working together, they will do $$\frac{3}{16}$$th of the work in 1 day.

Therefore, 2 of the people would do $$\frac{2}{3}*\frac{3}{16} = \frac{1}{8}$$th of work in a day(Option B)

We see that the rate of each person is (1/3)/(16/3) = 1/3 x 3/16 = 1/16 of the job per day. Thus two people can finish 2 x 1/16 = 2/16 = 1/8 of the job in one day.
