Official Explanation
Except when multiplying or dividing by a negative number, you can work with inequalities in the same way that you work with equations:
Notice that the direction of the inequality reverses when you do multiply or divide by a negative (bottom right, above). This means –8.33 < x < –6.8. Choices (C) and (D) fall within this range.
