5^(x+1) - 5^x= 5^5 * (10)^2

=> 5^x*5 -5^x=5^5*(10)^2. (By the product rule for exponents)
=>5^x(5-1)=5^5(10)^2 (By factoring out 5^x)
=>5^x*4=5^5(10)^2 (Notice the common factor of 2 in 4 &10? so factor them out)
=> 5^x=5^5*5^2 (Dividing by 2^2 on BS)
=> 5^x=5^7 (By the product rule for exponents)
=> X=7
