amswer is 87 .

total score of 6 students = 88*6 = 528

SCORE of one = 93
so score of 5 = 528 - 93 = 435

SO AVERAGE = 435/5 = 87

Award kudos if correct

Logically without putting pen on paper
This how you go
Each of this 6 students have a score of 88 since that is the average.
Now you realized one student have 93 which is 5 (more) than the average so the other 5 students need to compensate this 5 more with 5 less to retain the average as 88
So there are 5 students compensating with 5(less) each (88) will be one less (88-1) thus Now average of 87.
Ans is D
Hope it helps
