If 9 is a factor of 2x, then which of the following is not an integer?

a) 6x/54 + 2x/3
b) (4x - 18)/9
c) (2x + 27)/9
d) (81 - 4x^2)/81
e) (2x - 3)/3

I got this correct but I still don't understand why. According to me, all can be integers. Your inputs? Thanks.

Ya Im startin to not like Kaplan's math problems. The 800 book was ok in terms of word problems, but some just unnecessarily wierd. Not difficult, but easy to slip up on and just seemed a little off compared to OG, challenges, MGMAT, etc... somethin about em i dont particularly like.

Just make everything x=0 b/c 2(0)/9 = integer

If you put 0 in for any of these then it works. Or putting 9 works as well. I just used 0 as an extreme case.

Kaplan = sucky material
