$$\frac{24}{100} = \frac{6}{25}$$

Remainder should be multiple of 6.

Option B)

$$\frac{a}{b}$$ = 35.24 = 35 +0.24 = 35 + $$\frac{24}{100}$$
:Remainder would come from $$\frac{24}{100}$$ = $$\frac{6}{25}$$
:Remainder$$(\frac{a}{b})$$ = 6

We are given that a divided by b equals 35.24. Let’s express this using the remainder formula:

a/b = 35 + 24/100 (That is, if b = 100, then the remainder of a/b is 24.)

a/b = 35 + 12/50 (That is, if b = 50, then the remainder of a/b is 12.)

a/b = 35 + 6/25 (That is, if b = 25, then the remainder of a/b is 6.)

We see that the remainder of a/b is a multiple of 6, and thus the answer must be B.

We can sort it as follows:

$$\frac{a}{b} = 35 +\frac{24}{100}$$

Or $$\frac{24}{100} = \frac{6}{25}$$

$$\frac{6 (remainder)}{25 (divisor)}$$

a/b=35.24=35 24/100 or 35 6/26. we see that 6 is remainder, which is the answer
