at least one of the three must equal 0 in order for their product to equal 0.
(1) a can be 2 or 0. INSUFF
(2) (a+b)^2 = (a^2+b^2+2*a*b) so cancel them out.
b/c = 1-1 = 0
therefore b = 0.
SUFF

My answer is 'B'.
Statement 1 does not tell anything about B or C . So NOT SUFF
