2. A > 0

1) 0< C <1
If B is -ve A<B if B is +ve A>B
insuffcient
2) A > 0
If C >1 A<B
if C =1/2 A>B

insuffcient

i am a little confused.

If {B} is simply B and not |B|, then the answer should be C.
st 1 : says C is positive and less than 1. But nothing about B. So insufficient.
eg. b=2 and c=0.5 a=4 > b. b=-2 c=0.5 a=-4 < b

st 2 says both b and c should be same sign. but nothing about value of c. so c could be <1 or > 1. so insufficient.

combine. you have A>0 and 0<c<1. so b>0. given this a>b.

If however, by {B} you mean |B| then the answer will be A.
we know from question itself that a>0. if 0<c<1, then |B|/|c| = a > b.
