a=.6b, b=.4c, c=.2d
thus a =.6*.4*.2 d
a= 0.048d
20a = .96d
now 6d = x* 20a
x = 6/(.96)
x = 625

d = 100

c = 20

b = 8

a = 4.8

(6d / 20a)*100

(600 / 4.8 * 20 )*100

(600 / 96 )*100

600 / 96 = 6.25

6.25 * 100 = 625.

D is the correct answer.

We can create the equations:

a = 0.6b

And

b = 0.4c

and

c = 0.2d

Therefore, we have b = 0.4(0.2d) = 0.08d, and hence a = 0.6(0.08d) = 0.048d.

So 20a = 20(0.048d) = 0.96d, and 6d is:

6d/(0.96d) x 100 = 6/0.96 x 100 = 600/96 x 100 = 625 percent of 20a

Let, $$d = 1000$$

So, $$c = 200$$ ; $$b = 80$$ & $$a = 48$$

Thus, $$6d = 6000$$ & $$20a = 960$$

Then, $$6d$$ is what percent of $$20a$$ = $$\frac{6000}{960}*100 = 625$$ Answer must be (D)
