5. If A is the tens’ digit and B is the units’ digit of a two-digit number, what is the value of this number?
(1) A + B = 3
(2) A – B = 3

I do not quite understand how the data sets can help solve the question stem.

Are you kidding? Its too easy
2A=6 => A=3. B=0
the number AB is 30

(1) A + B = 3 Insuff
(2) A – B = 3 Insuff
