Let the price of necklace this week = p
Discount for next week = 60%

(1- 60/100)p = 179.95
=>(40/100) p = 179.95
179.95 can be approximately same as 180
=> p = 450

The ans will be E.
If S.P=179.95
and this is after discount then
C.P-discount=S.P
Let C.P=x
Discount=.6x
x-.6x=179.95
.4x=179.95
x=449.8

Price of necklace this week =p
dISCOUNT =60%
Total price next weak = p*(100-60%) with discount

So ,
179.95=P*(.4)
P=449.87
