$$1 \ kg = 2.2 \ lb$$

Or, $$10 \ kg = 22 lb$$

Or, $$22 \ lb = 10 \ kg$$

Or, $$11 \ lb = 5 \ kg$$

Or, $$1 \ lb = \frac{5}{11} \ kg$$, Thus Answer must be (C)

1kg = 2.2 pound
hence 1 pound = \frac{1}{2.2}
or \frac{10}{22}
simplifying \frac{5}{11}
ans C

The number of kilograms in one pound is 1/2.2 = 10/22 = 5/11.

Alternate Solution:

We can set up a proportion: One kilogram is to 2.2 pounds as x kilograms is to 1 pound:

1/2.2 = x/1

1/2.2 = x

10/22 = x

5/11 = x
