in y mins 50 * y

one machines makes 3,000 golf balls per hour,
thus in one minute 3000/60 = 50 balls
in y minutes 50y
4 machines in y minutes = 50y*4= 200y
hence answer A

Machine * Time * Rate = Work

4 * 3000/60 * y = Work

200y = Work

Hence A.

If M makes 3,000 per hour, it makes 3,000/60 = 50 per minute.
4M would make 200 per minute.
Set y to an easy number like 2, so our target answer is now 400.
Only A fits.
