If ABCD is a rectangle, what is the area of the triangle PQR?

Stat1: DQ = QR = RC, still we don't know side length to get area of triangle PQR. Not sufficient.
Stat2: The area of rectangle is 38 square centimetres. we don't know side length to get area of triangle PQR. Not sufficient.

Combining both,

Area of triangle PQR= 1/2 *AD*QR = 1/2* AD* DC/3 = 1/6 * AD*DC = 1/6 * (Area of rectangle). Sufficient.

So, Ans. C. :)

TarunKumar1234 how did you get this last part here? "1/6 * (Area of rectangle)"
