is this sentence correct?

I assume that if the sun is bright, [then] there is a good chance (that it will not rain.)

in MGMAT, it states that the present tense verb in the "IF dependent clause" will be followed by a "Will +base verb"

If it were to rain tomorrow, the sun would not come out.

makes sense... if/will

BMW just think of a future conditional with "If dependent clause"
present conditional is "If.. were....would..."
so. future conditional should be "If ...is....will.."

i know this concept. i just wanted to test whether the subordinated clause's tense would affect the structure of the sentence.
