Let par value of stock= 100

Dividend= $$\frac{67}{8}$$ % of 100= $$\frac{67}{8}$$

Required fraction= $$\frac{67}{8}$$*$$\frac{1}{100}$$=$$\frac{67}{800}$$

Answer: B.

IMO b S Divident= 67/8/100 of par value of stock
so divident= 67*par value of stock/800 so answer is B.

let x be the value of the stock. Now dividend paid was $$\frac{67}{8}$$% which is equal to $$\frac{67}{8}*\frac{1}{100} * x$$ = $$\frac{67x}{800}$$

Now we have to find the fraction - dividend paid was what fraction of the par value of the stock

$$\frac{67x}{800*x}$$ = 67/800 answer B.

In the same way that we express 37% as 37/100, we will express 67/8% as (67/8)/100. Letting the par value = p, we have:

Dividend = [(67/8)/100]p

Dividend = (67/800)p

Answer: B
