Let us assume herbs produced in Feb = 100
Production in March = 80
Production in April = 100 same as that in Feb
% increase = (100 - 80)*100/80
= 25%

Solution
Given:
- • Maxine's garden produced 20% fewer herbs in March than in February
To find:
- • What percent must her March production be increased in April in order to reach its February production level
Approach and Working Out:
- • Let the herbs produced in February be 100x
- o Implies, the herbs produced in March = 100x - 20% of 100x = 80x
• To reach 100x in April, we need 20x more herbs, which is \(\frac{20x}{80x} * 100\) = 25% increase
Hence, the correct answer is Option B.
Answer: B
