Aren't options B and C same? Am I missing something. Kindly suggest.

Yeah, that's a typo.

Another method is just put m = 0 and n = 41 so that n/41 is 1 more than m/41 (which is 0).
Now put m = 0 in all the options. The option that gives you 41 is the correct answer.

If n/41 is 1 more than m/41, then n =

A. m-41
B. m+41
C. m+41
D. m+42
E. 41m

\(\frac{n}{41}=\frac{m}{41}+1\) --> \(\frac{n}{41}=\frac{m+41}{41}\) --> \(n=m+41\) .

Answer: B.

Could you please break it down for me

You mean algebra?

\(\frac{n}{41}=\frac{m}{41}+1\);

\(\frac{n}{41}=\frac{m}{41}+\frac{41}{41}\);

\(\frac{n}{41}=\frac{m+41}{41}\);

\(n=m+41\) .

Does this make sense?

D. m+42

Let n = 41.
That makes n = 0.
Plug these values in options.
Option B.
That's it.

Asked: If n/41 is 1 more than m/41, then n =

n/41 = 1 + m/41
n = 41 + m

n/41 is 1 more than m/41
n/41 = m/41 + 1
Multiplying by 41 on both sides,
n = m + 41

Hence, OA is (B).
